About the foundation
Our story dates way back to 21 years ago when it all started. We had nothing but a dream and a bag of hope!
MLC Network (a.k.a Mercy foundation) is a Non-governmental organisation (NGO) founded and funded by Mrs Mercy Amatameso. It started as a means of reaching out to widows, orphans and the less privileged in a Naval Base community in Abuja which later metamorphosed into what we have today.
The foundation has grown with startlingly rapid progress, having an academic scholarship scheme for those orphans who cannot access education, catering to over fifteen orphans of which some of them graduated with SSCE certificates. The foundation also intervened in areas of community civic responsibility by renovating dilapidated blocks of classrooms to accommodate more pupils. MLC Network has made it a matter of urgent concern and hence committed to consistently picking orphans from the streets to the classroom.
The foundation also caters to older orphans by distributing motorbikes for commercial purposes to those who have been rehabilitated from crime and criminality.
MLC Network commonly known as Mercy foundation was conceived and birthed out of ‘Mercy, Compassion and Love.
Our vision is to make life sweet and better for the less privileged ones in the society. Our primary targets are widows and orphans. We also provide and create an enabling environment for the widows and orphans and give them a sense of responsibility via training and monitoring them to become better citizens of the society.

- Free medical equipment & outreach to communities.
